While ostensibly, the dialogue "Apology" by Plato is simply Socrates' defense speech, I consider it moreso about his method of self-examination and living an examined life. Here, I seek to do the same. (7/7/2025)

I and Thou
In "I and Thou," Buber conceptualizes an I-Thou relationship as one where two beings meet in their totality, recognizing each other as unique, whole, and authentic beings. Here, I seek to cultivate an inner disposition, through reflection, that will allow for such relationships. (7/7/2025)
The City of God
Augustine writes in the "City of God" that “God’s son, assuming humanity without destroying his divinity, established and founded this faith, that there might be a way for man to man’s God through God’s man.” Despite my fifteen years of faithlessness, God's mercy left that way open for me. Here, I reflect upon the life I gave to God's man: man's God. (7/8/2025)
